More Than the Riches of this World

"Do what the Lord wants, and he will give you your heart's desire." Psalm 37:4

I made it my life verse. There are times I fall short on obeying what God wants me to do, but I am blessed to have Him beside to remind me unfailingly. He uses people, places, and circumstances to show me His love. Two days ago, I joined the Kadayawan festival by visiting some of the beautiful places in Davao. First, we went to Museo Dabawenyo where I got the chance to hold the solidarity ring, big enough to fit my middle finger when I transform to "Incr_d_ble H_lk", it's a secret so I hide some letters. Secondly, we walk around the park to see the exhibited houses of the natives. Afterward, we got a chance to buy some stuff inside the Matina Town Square. I bought a flowery short for the beach (gulf view) the next day. We celebrated our church's Oceans day yesterday August 25, 2008. Finally, the tour ended at Jacksridge where we usually take pictures overlooking the city. You ought to visit the places I mentioned when you visit Davao City. One thing I treasure most from God is He is very true on His promises. Remember the Psalm 37:4 above. The family, friends, material blessings, and everything are gifts from Him.
